Dr. Araceli Javier, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Javier received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southwestern University in the Philippines. She taught in the same University and also practiced prior to immigrating to Canada. She completed the NDEB Equivalency process of Canada in 2015 and has been practicing as a General dentist in Ontario for 8 years.

During the duration of her practice, beginning as an Associate dentist to owning her own practice, she underwent several programs to further her knowledge and skills. She completed the Post-graduate Program in Contemporary Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota and the Mini-residency program in Complete Dentistry at The Dawson Academy in Florida.

Dr. Javier is passionate about achieving optimum oral health for her patients, with emphasis in TMJ health, stable occlusion (bite), function and esthetics.

Her family decided to make Vancouver Island their new home after they visited herein 2021 and fell in love with it. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities and gardening. She also likes traveling with her husband and 2 daughters.
Dr. Caroline Chu, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Caroline Chu completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia. She is a second-generation dentist, and has aspired to become a dentist since the age of 5, when she first observed her parents’ work.

After graduating from UBC, Dr. Chu worked in an office in the heart of Vancouver but is drawn to the island lifestyle after her friends moved here. She is eager to provide oral health care to patients in Nanaimo and Parksville. Besides dentistry, Dr. Chu’s passions include playing the cello, skiing on the North Shore and Whistler, and playing fetch with her energetic toy poodle.
