In Memoriam – Dr. Thomas Kirk

It is with profound sadness and regret that we share the news that Dr. Thomas Kirk passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 19 of a heart complication. We are mourning his death and our thoughts go out to his family and close friends.

Dr. Kirk was an integral part of the Vancouver Island dental community and a wonderful dentist. Dr. Kirk owned Brooks Landing Dental in Nanaimo for over 20 years, and Arrowsmith Dental in Parksville for over 15 years, and previously served as President of the Nanaimo District Dental Society. A proud father, friend and colleague, his energy, warm heart and presence will be greatly missed.

The Kirk family have asked for peace and pause during this difficult time. They appreciate your sympathy and support. Cards will be accepted at our offices and graciously passed on to Dr. Kirk’s family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dr. Kirk’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation.

We will need to adjust our schedules and operations to help support our teams. We will be making personal calls to all patients that need to be rescheduled. In the meantime, if you have any urgent questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at (250) 954-1111.
